Weaponizing the Media

In 2016, after Hillary Clinton’s loss, the Democratic National Committee concluded that Trump won because of “misinformation.” In 2016 the Democrats began to weaponize the media to eliminate “misinformation.”

In July 2021, then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, in one of the most anti-free speech statements ever made by the White House said, “We are flagging posts for Facebook that spread misinformation. We are in regular touch with these social media platforms regarding misinformation.”

The internet, social media platforms, and mainstream media have become weapons for Biden to cancel any thoughts and opinions that challenge the narrative. Mainstream media no longer has journalists. Mainstream media has “narrative enforcers.”

American’s Trust in Media Hits All-Time Low

The October I&I/TIPP Poll shows Americans’ trust in the U.S. media has plunged to its lowest levels ever. 63 percent of those polled said they have “little trust” or “no trust” in the major media.

A recent Gallup poll revealed that nearly 40 percent of Americans have “no confidence” that the mainstream media is giving them the straight scoop. That is the lowest since Gallup began asking the question in 1972.

Pew Research revealed that fewer than 40 percent of Americans follow the news.

Obama Embraces Censorship

During speeches in 2022 at Stanford University and the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, Obama called for “solving the disinformation problem” with social media censorship. Obama also called for a worldwide ban on the content he deemed “disinformation” and called for independent media to be abolished before the 2024 election.

Conclusion

The First Amendment has no qualifier which excludes “misinformation.” The Founders of America understood that all opinions and viewpoints needed protection.

Little by little, Americans have been conditioned to accept incursions on their freedom. Benjamin Franklin warned over two centuries ago, “Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freedom of speech.”

The arrogant elites are bringing their censorship network to the international level to create a centralized system of thought control.
