“Fraud and falsehood dread examination. Truth invites it.”
-Samuel Johnson
Introduction
Prior to the 2020 presidential election, many predicted that the unprecedented widespread use of mail-in ballots would facilitate fraud. The pandemic was conveniently used to justify sending mail-in ballots nation-wide to every citizen on the voter rolls.
The voter rolls were not current and contained the names of many people who had moved or died.
A 2005 bipartisan commission, led by former President Jimmy Carter (D) and former White House Chief of Staff James Baker (R), had concluded that mail-in ballots “remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.”
Postal “Mail-In Ballot” Division
The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced on July 28 that it was creating the “Election and Government Mail Services” division.
The USPS delivered more than 135 million ballots in 2020, and feels it is necessary to have a special division dedicated to the handling of ballots and election material.
The postal services heavily unionized workers are democratic. The Naional Association of Letter Carriers and the American Postal Workers Union both endorsed Biden in 2020.
It would not be difficult for the postal workers to delay mail-in ballot applications or the ballots themselves to Repblican heavy areas.
It would also be easy to “misplace” the mailings of conservative campaigns.
Conclusion
Democrats are now working harder to change the election system than to change voters minds, because they do not care what voters think. They just want to win.
